On torque-sensing Aventon models (Level.2, Aventure.2, Pace 500.3 and later), the controller gets no valid torque signal from the bottom bracket sensor. Assist is weak, jerky or absent. On cadence-only models this code should not appear.

- Pressure on the pedals while switching on
- Torque sensor connector near the bottom bracket wet or loose
- Sensor cable damaged where it enters the frame
- Faulty torque sensor

- Switch off, take your feet off the pedals, switch on and wait 3 seconds
- Check the connector near the bottom bracket; dry and re-seat
- Inspect the cable for damage
- Contact Aventon support or a dealer for a sensor replacement
