The cadence (speed) part of the torque sensor is not delivering pulses, so the controller knows how hard you push but not that the cranks are turning. Assist starts late, stutters or does not start at all.
Likely causes
- Torque sensor connector or cable damaged (shares the plug with error 25)
- Cadence magnet ring or hall pickup inside the sensor faulty
- Water ingress at the bottom bracket
- Sensor misaligned after a bottom bracket service
