Aventon error 07: Over voltage protection

Battery voltage above the controller's limit, most often straight after a full charge or with a non-original charger. Assist stays off until the voltage drops back into range.
Likely causes
- Wrong or faulty charger
- Freshly charged pack slightly above the cut-off
- Controller voltage sensing fault
How to fix Aventon error 07
- Unplug the charger, ride a few minutes on low assist, power cycle
- Measure the pack; a 48V Aventon pack should be at or below 54.6V
- Use only the original charger
- Contact Aventon support if the voltage is normal and the code persists
