The display and controller are not communicating. The Aventon display powers on but shows 30, freezes or has no data, and there is no assist. Usually the display or harness connector.

  1. Switch off, unplug the display connector, check for water and bent pins, clean, dry, re-seat and lock
  2. Wiggle the harness with the bike on to find intermittent breaks
  3. Power cycle after re-seating
