Likely causes
- Wrong charger (higher voltage than the pack)
- Charger fault overcharging the pack
- BMS voltage measurement drift
- Regenerative braking on a completely full battery
How to fix Bafang error 41
- Disconnect the charger and check its rated output matches the battery
- Ride on low assist for a few minutes to lower the voltage, then power cycle
- Measure the pack voltage; if it is above the rated maximum, stop using that charger
- Have the BMS checked if the measured voltage is normal but the code persists
