The battery is outside its permitted temperature range (roughly -10 to +40 C for riding, 0 to +40 C for charging). The system reduces or stops assistance or charging until the battery is back within range.

- Battery heated by heavy continuous discharge on a hot day
- Faulty temperature sensor in the battery
How to fix Bosch error 605
- Stop and switch the system off
- Cold: bring the battery indoors and let it warm to room temperature for an hour before charging or riding
- Hot: move the bike into the shade and wait 20-30 minutes
