Likely causes

How to fix Bosch error 410

  1. Press every button on the display a few times firmly; feel for one that does not click back
  2. Take the display off its holder and clean around the buttons with a soft brush and a slightly damp cloth
  3. If it has been wet, leave the display indoors overnight to dry, then refit it
  4. Switch the system off and on again with the display refitted
  5. Check nothing on the handlebar is pushing against a button while riding
  6. If the code stays after cleaning and drying, the button switch itself is faulty: a dealer can confirm it and swap the display
Go to a dealer if: A dealer is needed when the code persists with clean, dry, freely moving buttons, because the switch inside the display has failed and the unit must be replaced.
Warranty: Dirty contacts, damaged cables and water ingress are treated as wear or user damage and are rarely covered; a genuine component fault within the 2-year warranty normally is.
Typical cost: Usually free if it is just dirt or water; a replacement Purion is roughly 100-150 EUR/USD, an Intuvia 150-250, a Kiox or Nyon 250-400 plus fitting.
Still stuck? Take a photo of the display and show it to a local e-bike workshop. Bring the bike's system name (e.g. Bosch Performance Line CX) and the exact code; that saves diagnostic time and money.
